Wish Zynga would update the list, and allow for more items to be traded in. Hard trying to get the badge completed when I have items still I am unable to trade in.

the payback on trading in stuff is so small I don't see a reason to trade anything... i have 6 million in gold so dont really need money and 50000 in wood so dont need wood either, and 1 or 2 xp is easy enough to come buy, so i just keep the junk and hope that next year the items will be usable then.

So I noticed Zynga has updated with stuff u can trade now! So I put in the values from a few of them here. Now I'm off to bed, so I'll do some more tomorrow :)

I have updated "How it works" stating the limit I have found it has (199) and then had to wait 24 hours to do more. I am sure this will be confirmed and updated accordingly if I am wrong.

What's wierd is that when I go to trade ( I've traded 400 items already) it says I don't have anything more to trade. Has this happened to anyone else?

You don't need to apologize. As long as the edit wasn't spam, then it doesn't matter if you're unregistered or not.

I have apparently changed in everything I can now. 200 items yesterday and 136 today. Now I can only see things like pegs, windows and elbow grease to sell, and that I want to save because there maybe will be other buldings that require them in the future or so. But some things in the list here I cant sell, like the Lucky Talisman.
I hope Zynga will update this. I could sell the other snowmen stuff, but not the coal..

Its odd isnt it. Its like they dont really care about this new function yet. Now they are moving on with new quests and new buildings. Must have a lodged bunch of stuff they want to realease at once. A few people on my facebook wall even mentioned that they had snow covered trees today. I dont...

Anybody know a good way programatically on this wiki to make each line stay a different color, either by css or something. I dont want to waste time recoloring each time a new consumable is added, and I think alphabetical order is the way to go.

im going to hang on to my stuff. a lot of it randomly gets used again in later missions. there's no real point in getting rid of it except to tidy up the inventory, which cant be organized anyways haha.

This is nothing like Mafia Wars, where you can trade in a reward point and a few common items for some cool stuff for use in combat. Gee... cheated in FrontierVille with the Resolution Missions (only 20 instead of 50 horseshoes), and cheated here again.

@Corielle/Blaze fire12 On your edits of this page I see every time I add text it gets removed or changed, but mostly wiped out. Is the information I supply not deemed useful? I see you aren't moving it to other documents so its not that it was not appropriate for this article. Just wondering what is up because its kinda making me think I don't wanna contribute here. I see I am getting a lot of server unavailable/database locked type errors and for benefit of the doubt, I will assume it has something to do with that. Do let me know, either here or on my talk page. Thank you.
And in case this posts duplicates, I would like to mention that the first time I try to post NEW comments I have to do it twice, but comments on comments go the first time.

I had mentioned that not all items were accepted by Jacques yet, but the text was removed from this section. I think zynga is still working on adding the viral components to the list OR may never do certain ones, especially nails and such. There are many others I wasnt able to sell. What I should do is post the item into the list and then write that its not for sale.

Has anyone been able to sell dried fruit ? Somehow I ended up with 591 of them after the Christmas missions ,

I noticed this too. It was definitely a glitch. Hopefully we can sell them.

They had a problem with that quest, day four or whichever it was, and many people couldn't post requests for the fruit, I think Zynga's 'fix' was simply to send everyone a pile of dried fruit. All of my friends have hundreds as well.

It seemed like to me that when you gave your friend fruit, instead of getting the 150 xp like you were supposed to, it gave you 150 fruit. I noticed this happened after helping one friend.

I will also have 750+ and its taking up space giftbox. today got message that, cannot accept a gift as my giftbox is full. Urgently need to sell them. Zynga must do something about this

I had about 500 of them too - you can trade them in now. can't remember what for, but zi was happy enough to just get rid of them.
