Goal Information

Description

Ye found the thief's hideout - a den full'a them fox varmints hiding out in a rocky outcropping. You'll have to blast the darn thing open if you hope to find the stolen document!

In-Game Hint

You'll have to produce lots of Powder Kegs at the foundry to fire off the fox cannon!

	Pioneer blasted some thieves! Pioneer tracked some thieving foxes back to their hideout and blasted the place open! Pioneer has some Tools leftover from all the blasting.

Ok, after experimenting a little, it seems like grass is more likely to grow when there's already a bunch of debris around. I would always clear anything immediately, but that only resulted in more thorns, rocks and cacti. Then I decided not to touch anything, except for the grass and I suddenly started getting more grass.

I never imagined I'd finish the foxes before the grass. I only have 10 geese and 7 turkeys, so that says a lot. Grass only seems to grow like once every third or fourth day. Had this mission for about two weeks now and I'm only up to 17 grass.

I have 2 cleared spaces to try and get grass...for 3 days I have not gotten any grass at all...just thorns and cacti and trees. It never fails...you DON'T get what you need!
I don't mind waiting a little bit to get the grass..but to have NONE??

Any advice on how to get grass? All I get is thorns and a few random rocks and cacti. I've been stuck on that mission where you need to get 10 grass for a while, so this is gonna take forever.

FInding 20 foxes is a piece of cake compared to getting 30 grass. Just buy quite a few chicken on your farm, and to speed things up, feed them individually instead of using to coop bonus system. By doing that, I got all foxes in less than a day.
Instead of spending all wood and clothes in making fire, try care packages, they give fire every now and then

I have not seen a fox on my homestead for ages coyotes yes but no foxes

Well, this is confusing and frustrating at the same time, again. We no longer get foxes while feeding chicks, neither do they appear if we feed geese (tested this with about 200 geese, not a single fox). Zynga is definitely doing another trick to make foxes appear, like they've done before with cacti, rocks and grass...

I have been getting a lot of foxes while tending geese. About every tenth goose I tend. My geese are babies still. HTH.
