I think Zynga has fixed the Storage Shed exploit. In fact, they made it worse for us. I bought a new campfire, placed it on the homestead and the goal counter went up. But after I storing it in the shed and taking it out, the counter went back to ZERO. That's right, I've wasted a brand new campfire. So I had to buy a new one. I think Zynga was lazy and just reversed the numbers with this exploit, instead of going up like before, it reduces IF stored.

As most of you know, using items from your inventory counts as "purchase". What I just found out is, that if you put something in the storage shed and take it out again its a purchase to ... so I just bought one tent and moved it 2 times in and out of the shed ... nice little glitch.

Anyone on scout a site yet ... I have bought 2 campfires and it does not register. and are they seriously going to have a mission that REQUIRES you to buy Horseshoes???

Sorry the tents can only be bought with horseshoes or so it appears...

The tents for the goal cost 5000 coins and 7 wood. The tents that cost horseshoes is the special large tent, and I am sure will not count toward the goal. The tents you want for this goal are on the 12th page.

The only way I ended up getting them was building multiple barns, I know it is costly but thats how I done it.

Any tips on how to get lanterns? I've been collecting from the barn daily since I built it, and nothing! I'm building another barn... but still nothing :(

It might be a good time to grab that "Rithmatic" lesson at your school, which gives you a 5% discount at the market. If you get the lesson before purchasing anything for this quest, you'll end up saving $1150, giving you $150 profit off the bat and 5% discount for everything you buy ever after. Remember the flax and sheep collections give ribbon.

Everytime it says "Buy" something, you have to buy it, I guess. Otherwise it says "Have" something.

Does it count if you already have tents on your homestead or do you have to buy three new ones?

It leads up to the building the sawmill goal, but after this goal comes 'start reforesting' and then comes 'get equipped', and after that you get the build a sawmill goal.

At the top of the goal, it says, "Time to scout out a good spot for a sawmill. We gots to get lumber production up. Who knows what we'll find when we're out there."
The hint at the bottom says, "There's prolly a couple lanterns in the barn collection."
So probably sawmill goal is right after this one...

I don't think it involves any building of the sawmill. It's just saying to find a good spot for one. :)
