Rations are a character's energy in The Pioneer Trail when in a location after a character travels from their homestead. The game gives you ten rations and using a real character gives you more rations.

The game restricts you to have the higher amount of Rations and it cannot be greater and you'll have to wait or ask your friends or buy more rations. Doing actions, like shooting a Beaver Dam Turkey costs energy.
