To learn all about these newfangled crops, ya gotta harvest 'em for yourself and for neighbors. Learnin' to unwither is important, too!

In-Game Hint

You have to be level 17 to plant Sunflowers. Go visit a neighbor who has some to find a withered one to tend.

Anyone growing sunflowers could let some of them wither for me? I know this is a bit odd, but I'm stuck with the 'Lears about sunflowers' mission. Thanks and feel free to ask for similar things!

I know now how to finish it ánd keep it away as well (at least until now, it hasn't returned). When you finish the Sunflower mission, you have to finish the 'Eat you fruit' mission right after it, without leaving Frontierville (just make sure you have enough trees for it, so you don't wait hours). Then you get the next mission: 3 Square Meals, which doesn't leave. So, hope this works for you as well!

Same here....I am 33 lv. and finally I found a friend with sunflowers and I've water them...it's ok It says I've finished the quest, but when I get back on my home page and return in frontierville later the quest is not finished. I've tried even to finish the next quest - Eat Your Fruit...and when I'm back in facebook my trees are harvest but the sunflowers quest is still in the list and everything is in vain :(

have completed sunflower 3 times and keeps comming back have to keep asking friends 4 help to plant them again think if very unfair

i've been stuck on this mission for a very long time, and i'm currently at level 47. i recently, finally got someone to plant a sunflower and wither it for me, and then had the same problem just mentioned. the sunflower mission came back but it took away the last 'chapel of love' mission. now that i'm doing the giant homestead expansion mission i'm becoming nervous. what if that mission goes away next time i attempt to finish the sunflower, but i don't get the expansion unlocked? i really hope this is fixed soon.

Yes, I have the same problem. Finished the quest multiple times, then I get the 'Eat Your Fruit' mission, but as soon as I restart Frontierville, the Sunflower mission is back! Hope they solve it, so we can all go on with other missions!

Yeah, same goes for me as well. Happened a few times too many. Losing progress while completing and after completing the quest. I only lose progress on "Revive a Neighbor's Withered Sunflower" & "Water Five Growing Neighbor Sunflowers". I have logged a ticket to Zynga. Hope they are able to solve it.

I have completed this quest twice in the last 2 days (Simply asked my neighbors to plant some sunflowers) and then I got the "Eat Your Fruit" goal. Hours later, the Sunflower Quest was back, and The Eat Your Fruit was gone. Anyone else having this problem?

I think to have sunflowers we have to have some neighbors also the in game hint here says to be at Level 17 I am at Level 45 already but still is locked.

Oh no, not another 'your neighbor must have a specific crop in a specific state quest' Well I am done with this quest aside from the unwither bit, but of the three neighbors I have who plant sunflowers, I don't think any of them are negligent enough to let them wither. When my neighbors have withered crops it's almost always something fast-growing.
