Description

You should check your coop every day for eggs. When you got a dozen, EAT 'em!

Collect Some Eggs is one of the Goals in FrontierVille. It was released on June 17th, 2010. It was formerly known as "Collect a Dozen Eggs", but the number of eggs was changed and so the name had to be changed too.

Tasks Edit

	Collect (and eat) One White Egg.	Unlock for 40 Horseshoes
	Collect (and eat) One Brown Egg.	Unlock for 40 Horseshoes
	Collect (and eat) One Spotted Egg.	Unlock for 40 Horseshoes

Tips Edit

The act of Whacking together the framework of the Chicken Coop yields some eggs. A second Chicken Coop does not necessarily have to be finalized.

Warning Edit

One of each egg is removed from the collection when the Goal is completed.

	Pioneer collected a dozen special eggs and is making a breakfast. Pioneer collected lots of different eggs and is whipping up some food for hungry neighbors--and you're invited!

if you want this quest done, and cant find the last egg..
simply start building a new, second chicken coop, do 33 whacks on it, and youll get more collectibles from it..
if you still miss out one, like i had, simply delete the unfinished coop and make a new one...
at the end, all it costs u is 264 wood and you got 33x the chicken coop dropchance for a collectible

Current glitch allows you to collect multiple times on multiple coops. 1) Line up all your coops, order doesnt matter 2) Move your character to the far side of the map to give you time to tell him to harvest all coops 3) Click to harvest all coops at once 4) Character will harvest all, then harvest the first clicked AGAIN 5) Only the first coop gets tagged as harvested 6) Repeat starting with second coop.
Produces lots of eggs and feathers Works even if you dont have chickens Cycle breaks if a fox pops up, so make sure to already have a fox on your land before you do this

glitch: click collect bonus, once the first "collecting" bar fills up press cancel, and repeat. you can keep collecting the exp bonus and collectibles.

i think i may have found a glich. it worked for me a few times. if you select collect bonus fromthe chick coop, and then from some other building after, i have found that you get 2 exp and a chance at a collectable without useing up your 24 hour cooldown. if anyone can conferm, please do.

I can confirm that the eggs do drop when collecting the daily bonus, however, that's only if you're willing to wait a day for a possibility of one dropping. I've gotten two so far that way and found out after I finished the goal but for those who haven't and are willing to wait, there is that option of just collecting the daily bonus.
To be honest, there really isn't a rush to finish this goal unless you have already gotten the materials for "Get Equipped", one of which requires you to get 3 Coffees, another daily collectible from the Inn. There is also another goal that requires two Lanterns, another daily collectible after this goal.

Alright, I'm fed up. I have oodles of brown and spotted eggs but NO WHITE EGG. I've pounded away at about 10 chicken coops now. I deleted the unfinished coops and I just want someone to trade with me!

This is a frickin ridiculous mission. I've been waiting for two months to get a spotted egg to complete this mission and no sign of it yet!

I started the "Chicken Coop" mission with all materials and a few dinners ready and did all 30 whacks at once.
The eggs just kept falling out and when I did get to this one I had them all ready.
I'm not sure if this is good enough for a "Tip" yet, I'd like someone else to try the same thing to be sure.
Maybe I'm just lucky

Guess you're right.
I'd just like someone to try and gather all materials first and then build the coop doing all 30 Whacks (or how many are needed) in a row to see if they will also get all the eggs in the process.

Does anybody have an extra spotted egg? I have been on this quest for a month now. I've collected the bonuses every day from both of my chicken coops, collected straight from the chickens, hired neighbors to collect from the chickens...I am frustrated. None of my neighbors are on the mission; so they don't have any extras. I would LOVE to trade ANYTHING for just ONE spotted egg! Send me a friend request with "spotted egg" as the message. Otherwise, I don't like to add people. Thanks for the help!

Just curious when it says "The Pioneer can not share the set with Neighbors" Are you saying you can't gift the eggs because if you are this is NOT true. Should be more specific if not so avoid confusion.

After you finish the goal, the eggs are consumed, and you can't gift them.

- mumbles* I still had to collect a dozen... and now it's just three??? Yes it was a hard goal, but at least it gave people something to do ;) And now that the eggs come in Mystery Gifts as well, it's a lot easier already!
