Goal Information

Description

Nothing like a fresh breakfast in the morning. Go out and see if you can rustle some up.

In-Game Hint

"Groom" means to tend animals that are NOT hungry (they don't have yellow arrows above them.) Eggs are part of the chicken collection and Bacon is part of the pig collection.

	Groom Ten Unready Neighbor Chickens	Unlock for 30 Horseshoes
	Have One Egg	Unlock for 10 Horseshoes
	Have One Bacon	Unlock for 10 Horseshoes

Tips Edit

Ask friends to feed his/her Chickens prior to your visit.
If a friend does not have chickens ready to groom, you can feed them immediately and groom it afterwards.

Just need one more bacon this is the most annoying of all missions beside the one that you need the tea pot. I harvested over 300 clover to never get a tea pot is a little flaky...

i have collected atleast one of each of the eggs in the chicken collection and the friggin quest still isn't solved!!! every other goal is met so only the egg remains. This stupid quest is BUGGED!

i went around like a crazy lady looking for unhungry chickens to groom....even had a friend feed hers so i can groom 'em....didn't work...came here read that i should try to just feed some hungry ones...and BOOM...thanks!!!

I got my 10/10 chickens by feeding chickens not grooming them but I cant get an egg or bacon for the life of me have feed like 125 chickens and pigs and not a single egg or bacon

FWIW: When I completed this quest just a few days ago, I had to tend *HUNGRY* chickens, completely against the directions of the quest, and it worked. I had been running ragged looking for unready, fed chickens, and was beating my head against the wall when I finally found one and it didnt register.
So.. if this quest isnt working for, try the much easier route of feeding the hungry chickens. maybe it will work for you like it did for me...

I can Groom my neighbors chickens, not hungry ones, but I go back and check the quest, it still says 0/10.
is the quest broken? Does it have to be a certain size chicken? I've tried adult and brand new chickens? whats the problem?

If all the chicken have an arrow because they are hungry, then feed them, and then go back and click them again to "groom them".

Yes, you CAN tend the same chicken twice in one visit. I just did it a second ago. It works.

It is certainly going to be a lot harder since you can't tend a chicken twice in a visit...glad I passed this before that update!

having the same problem here. had my son open a frontierville game, place 10 chicks, I'll have him feed them in front of me for two mornings, since there are only five helps per each neighbor, should be done in two days.

I am getting no where on this because no one seems to ever feed their chicks. So I don't think I will be able to finish this one for a long time.
