Description

Your previous three entries have been popular, but now it's time for the pizza de resistance: Grandma's Peppermint Pizzazz Pie! You'll need a lot of peppermint leaves to cook down and strain before whipping it into the filling.

In-Game Hint

Peppermint can be purchased in the "Trees" tab in the Market. Gather cloth by visiting your neighbors.

if before you reach 100,000 look for when it says unlock for 1 horseshoe and then you can keep all of your food

What a bunch of WHINING BABIES. This is a game. Who cares about food? Obviosuly since you play so much and complain about food in a game, you dont have much of a outside life. so just play more

best way to get 100. 000 foods is selling adult ox.. use only 6 bear colllection reward - all animal ready to harvest - and 7 barn caollection reward -all animal harvest - I collected more than 100.000 foods in mınutes... first buy oxes full of my farm,(may more than 1500) and use rewards finally sell all adult oxes... :)))))

Quit whinging. It is a *game*.
And these missions are designed to be challenging for the people who complained that most missions are too easy!
And plenty of people have posted tricks on how to *keep your food* when you complete the mission!

This trick worked for me: I earned 99,993 Food and paid 1 horseshoe to reach the 100K goal. I received all the rewards and NONE of my food was consumed.

Read what was written 4 days earlier from this. An excellent tip! I actually didn't lose any food completing part III. I have those 50 000 food ready for part IV and I guess I may keep that 100 000 food after completing that, provided that Zynga doesn't want to fix that bug... gl guys !

I wish I've read this before finishing part II. :( Stupid me. It halved my food. I'm not doing other parts of this mission. Even if it means quiting.

I just completed the 50,000 mission by getting my food level up to within 50 of what was needed and used 1 horseshoe to finish it. It let me keep my 50,000 and now I have a great start for the 100,000. Let's hope it works the same way then!

Thanks for the tip. It really worked. I had around 20,000 food, so used it up till just below 15,000 (14,997 to be exact) before I even started harvesting the apples (part II), bought this mission for 1 horseshoe, and got to keep the food.
Going on 50,000 now (asked everybody to send me lunches so I don't need to buy energy, planted cabbages and eggplants, and asked neighbors to tend to my peaches). Daily editorial sure helps letting my neighbors know what I need!

Finally someone else who figured this out!!! I've known about this for a while but have been afraid to post it fearing that Zynga would fix the "glitch"! I just did it for the 50,000 food gritting my teeth as I pressed the unlock task button.... and it worked again! I've told a few friends, but am afraid of posting it on the forum for the above reason. I've been reading the forum and no one else has discovered this... or they are also afraid of mentioning it.

Its not 150k its 170k parts 1 & 2 needed food too. so such a lot of work reward needed to be higher

This really sucks big time! I'm on Part III of this sucky mission. I used so many food to buy energy so I could finish the expansion and Part II...like harvesting 400 wheats and 180 apple trees..etc...now I have to accumulate 50,000 food then 100,000 food. Zynga, u must be kidding us!

Even 5 000 was more than enough. But 15.. 50 and 100??? No way, I'm not going to finish even the first part! I'm not planting those tomatoes.. for such rewards..gosh!

Not only are the requirements outrageous, the rewards are LAME! If there was a seriously large HS prize (like 500), then maybe the food loss would be worth it. Because, let's face it, it's all virtual, and just goes back into playing the game anyway. But if they don't allow us to opt out of some of these more ridiculous missions, I guess I'll find a non-Zynga game to take its place. No biggee.

I have 70,000 food & I am on CANNING mission II & I refuse to complete it! I doubt anyone can finish these missions unless they spend REAL money just to get a stupid 7 HS ... I bet ZYNGA will bring the amount of food need down after they realise that hardly anyone is completing it.

I agree. Zynga's out of their minds if they think this is fair. Sure you get a Book of Experience (which is basically a free level) in finishing the third quest, and 7 horseshoes for the fourth, but please, for 165000 food? The most I've ever had is about 40000 food, and I've been playing this game for a year... and most of that 40000 got used up recently trying (in vain, until I figured out the trick) to farm some adult chickens before the stupid coyotes ate them and in harvesting the ridiculous amount of crops in order to get the Enormous land grant. Does anyone at Zynga even playtest their own games? Do they not understand game balance? Do they really think ANYONE is going to drop real money on horseshoes for such an insultingly unbalanced reward?
I'm done, Zynga... way to shoot yourself in the foot.

I have the food, but I'm not gonna throw it all away for 7 horseshoes and 10 fast hands. Unwither crop boosts is something I have more than enough of already and I never ever use it, so what's the point? If this had a BIG EXP reward, and then I'm talking at least 50k, I might do it.

The worst part is that I am stuck with part 1. All I have left is the 5,000 food. As soon as i get it, I have completed Part 1 and I don't think it is worth it. Wish there was a way to delete missions
