Can not purchase chicken coop with gold anymore... Have 2 already and the mission is not going away. Why would I ever pay horseshoes for a chicken coop?

Having multiple chicken coop is the best way to speed up the growing process if you own more than 100 chickens. Many people have more than three chicken coops to get these chickens to adult age. The "Radical Rancher Badge" asks to sell 2500 adult animals. So by raising 100-200 chicken, owning 2-3 chicken coop helps speed up the growing process and ready to sell the adult chicken.

Sometimes if you build something before the quest requires it, it will not automatically say you've finished it. If that happens, reload the page. It will automatically complete the quest. I had that happen with the school house.

I've experienced building a barn before it's goal and the goal completed instantly once I opened it but there was another player who had built a cabin before it's goal and it would NOT finish instantly. So it's uncertain whether you'll have to build another or not.
